⚡ Closed beta testing

Private communication inside protected rooms

Volt Chat Messenger brings encrypted rooms, audio and video calls, files, chess, temporary One rooms, recovery and Volt Coin into one independent space.

The project is currently in beta testing. Access is opened gradually.

RecoveryMain user, trusted devices and history backup

Built for private communication without unnecessary bindings

A phone number, email or address book is not required for normal room access. A main account is optional and used for recovery and advanced features.

🔐

Encryption and secret key

Rooms are opened with a secret key. The user controls access, while sensitive data is stored and transferred with encryption in mind.

🧠

Zero-knowledge technology

Messages and sensitive data are encrypted on the device before upload. The server delivers encrypted events and service metadata, but does not see message content or room keys.

🌀

One rooms

Temporary rooms are removed from the server after all participants leave, including messages, events and service records.

🎧

Calls, files and photo albums

Rooms support messages, files, MP3, video, captioned photos, albums, audio calls and video calls.

Chess and interaction

Play chess with a user or computer, download the game history and use chat reactions.

Volt Coin

The balance is linked to the main user. Top-ups and transfers between main users are supported.

🛡

Access recovery

The main user helps restore access after reinstalling the app. A restored device is treated as new: old Zero-knowledge room history stays hidden by default, while saved permanent rooms can optionally use a separate encrypted history backup.

Transparent data processing

The server is used for event delivery, encrypted room data, files, push notifications, recovery, optional history backups and technical diagnostics. Message content and room keys are not exposed to the server. Audio and video calls are protected by the standard WebRTC DTLS-SRTP protocol, and call signaling events are delivered in encrypted form. Data is not shared with third parties. Payments are processed by Stripe, and card data never reaches the Volt Chat server.

✓ Volt Chat does not collect phone numbers, contact lists, SMS, regular call history, geolocation, CVV codes or third-party service passwords.
